Five Finger Death Punch
Volbeat
Hellyeah
Nothing More
At the Deltaplex, Grand Rapids, Michigan
Five Finger Death Punch brought with them three great band which caused a sold out show at the Deltaplex on Sunday September 21. Most people on Sunday were watching football games. We decided to turn the tv off and see four great bands amaze all that went.
Each of these bands were so good that either one could headline the show. When you get a sold out show that will tell you what the fans like to listen to. The first band Nothing More had the task of warming up the crowd for the other bands and they got the crowd going crazy with their show.
Nothing More: Consists of Jonny Hawkins on vocals and drums, Daniel Oliver on bass and backup vocals, Mark Vollelunga on guitar and backup vocals and Paul OBrian on drums. On tour supporting their album Nothing More. What is unique about this group is that when you see them one time you can’t resist to see them again.
When Nothing More’s show end it leaves you wanting more. Between multiple drums playing for one song and three people playing on one bass at the same time make this band unique and worth seeing again. Early this spring we had the honor of interviewing Jonny Hawkins which can be read on the link below the setlist.

Hellyeah: Consists of Chad Gray on vocals, Tom Maxwell on guitar, Kyle Sanders on bass, Vinnie Abbott on drums and Christian Brady on guitar. On tour supporting their new album Blood For Blood. We couldn’t resist buying a copy of the album to share the song list with the readers.
For three years my son and I covered Hellyeah because they put on a great metal show no matter what size venue or crowd. They sound better live than recorded. The best way to test out an album is to cruise to it and this album is perfect for cruising.
Only one catch to playing this album is you want to turn it up loud and then louder. You just have to watch out not to get an excessive noise ticket.

We were able to capture only a partial setlist to share with the readers on here. Volbeat a great metal surprise to experience their show live. The band sounded better live than on cd or xm radio. This is the true test of any band is to hear them live.
