On a warm pleasant day the band Dogstar takes over the GLC Live venue with a sold out crowd. You couldn’t ask for a better day to stand out in line waiting to get in.
Many people were there that have never been to the Dogstar band show including me. For this show my family bought me a meet and greet for my recent birthday turning 60. I usually get press but didn’t and decided to take time out of my writing, a screenplay about a time traveling ninja, and write a concert report.
I thought back to the first time I heard of the band Dogstar and it was in between the movie Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and the legendary action movie The Matrix. I was thinking back to when Keanu starred as a hockey goalie in the movie Youngblood.
Besides being a famous actor, he also is an expert three gun marksman, co-founder of Arch motorcycles, also directed movies such as Man Of Tai Chi, co-writer of the BRZRKR franchise and so many movies and shows to list but the favorite role I like is a toss up between John Wick and Constantine. One other show was the Impossible Formula One Story documentary which is an underdog story. One other underdog racing story I like is Ford versus Ferrari.
Set aside all the fame and fortune, look at other things he has done, he founded a cancer research charity which I see as very honorable. And the kindness he shows on the streets when out and about. The band Dogstar seems like three friends on stage rocking out the audience.
Very professional at what they do because all three have a passion for music. In a podcast interview they talked about performing and sometimes get into it so much they get a sense of timelessness called mushin. The key to every great band, artist, and performer is to connect with the crowd they get that same feeling.
An easy way to put it is that the crowd forgets the everyday worries of life such as bills and other worries and just has a great time. The funny thing at my factory work is when the other workers want to know who the band Dogstar is? My response is “f**king John Wick band, f**king bada** bass player for the band that has a California rock vibe smooth as the Eagles and Kansas.
Waiting for the meet and greet I would talk to other people in line and pair up in groups of six. One nice lady from the Detroit surrounding area knew anything and everything about Keanu probably more than what wikipedia does.
We discussed Keanu’s early movies and future movies. The main topic was Constantine 2 and when it will be at theaters and also John Wick 5.
My group made it to the hand shake portion of the meet and greet. I just talked quickly to the band about music and that I created a Never-ending Musicians Memorial Song. Also that it was based off of the Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure song that the Wyld Stallyns played to unite musicians and people.
The band was surprised that the song concept inspired me to create something no one else has. I apologized for being a music pest. That’s what a musician/artist/composer/concert reporter does.
Up first for the show was a band called Archer O that had the tough task of getting people warmed up for the headliners.
Archer Oh: The band consists of Arturo Medrano on vocals/guitar, Pedro Hernandez on drums, Diego Jacuinde on guitar and Juan Cabrera on bass. The band is from Moreno Valley, California.
Their band is considered a California indie garage rock band but they have a little flair of punk. Why I say that is that Arturo moves around like Sid Vicious back in the day. I listened to the songs on spotify and really enjoyed their music.
The music is unique and full of energy and I would love to see them live again.

Dogstar: The band consists of Bret Domrose on guitar/vocals, Robert Mailhouse on drums, and Keanu Reeves on bass. The band formed in 1991 and comes from Los Angeles, California. All the songs listed below are all great rock songs and they don’t have any bad songs.
They have great flow and are very visual and captivate the crowd with their great California rock vibe. They are on tour in support of their album titled Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees. If you don't believe how good this band is check them out at a show near you, link listed below.

Editor’s/reporters notes:
I was a real music pest at the meet and greet because I have a passion for music and the arts, that is why I created this magazine. Other things unsaid would be besides me being a reporter not the same as the paparazzi. The past video of Keanu trying to start his Norton 650 I believe, and the paparazzi made fun of him and took pictures not lending a hand.
Me, I would give him a push, pop the clutch, and off you go unless too much compression. That is the difference in people.
